The Fine Fund
The Fine Fund was created in 1997 to support organizations using effective strategies to eliminate toxic chemicals from our bodies and our ecosystem.
The Fund offers support to nonprofits in three action areas:
· Scientific research aimed at detecting and publicizing the harm done by toxic chemicals.
· “Movement building” to support groups with common interests as they advocate for public health and safety.
· Communications outreach that makes more people aware of the harm done by toxic chemicals and the improvements we could gain by embracing healthier alternatives.
With a view to the long term, we will continue to support organizations that are, through scientific research, movement building, and communications programs, changing our understanding of how toxic chemicals affect us and innovating new ways to reduce – and even better, eliminate – these impacts.
