Awards
Awards for The RESULTS Project are for in-kind professional communications services to develop and promote recipients’ stories. Award recipients will also receive exposure for their project through The Fine Fund website, social media channels, public relations and events.
Selection Process
The Fine Fund will aim to select at least three (3) in kind services awards each quarter, depending on the volume of submissions. The Fund reserves the right to award less than three (3) for The RESULTS Project each quarter.
Applicants receiving an award for The RESULTS Project will be selected by a committee comprised of The Fine Fund staff. The committee will review all applications submitted within the period and judge each project based on the following criteria:
1. Project Impact (40%): Application describes the actual/potential impact of the initiative in the following ways: a) quantifiable measurable impact in the organization’s community of practice and/or broader communities, b) weight and importance of the measurement in terms of historical significance, percentage of change, scale of change, system-wide change, innovative process and/or technology, etc.
2. Organizational Strength (30%): Application clearly demonstrates an organizational track record of vision, originality, understanding of the organization’s practice and the ability to engage community.
3. Story Elements (30%): Application includes elements of a good storyline including clear and wide-scale impacts, addressing a critical problem or challenge, worthy beneficiaries, involvement of co-collaborators, compelling conflict and adversaries, leadership demonstration, and innovative problem solving.
Prior to selection, Paula Schaper from The Fund will attempt to contact finalist applicants by phone twice over a seven (7) day period via the telephone number provided by the selected applicant. If the applicant cannot be contacted after seven (7) days, then the selected finalist applicant forfeits all rights to receive The RESULTS Project award and will be deemed disqualified. In such case another finalist applicant may be selected. All findings, determinations and decisions of The Fund or its designees are final and binding in all matters relating to The RESULTS Project awards and in all respects.
